Da Dzaka Nakot drops three new tracks

Potop (Flood) is a new track, originally created in 2022. It embodies the core code of rap: bravado, the warrior’s cry with a chest-thumping , sometimes delivered through sneak disses. It seems like local rappers communicate through verses with a hefty dose of animosity. We enjoy it and eagerly wait to see if we might witness the first real rap battle in the Macedonian scene – maybe intergenerational, or simply out of principle. Judging by the lyrics, all it takes is a spark for it go into full blown rap battle. Or maybe it’s just wishful thinking...

ОКО a miniature, is a track recprded in England in one take, sounds exceptionally contemporary and fresh, despite claiming in it “there are no genres.”

ОД-ДО (From-to) slows things down but sticks to the principle of minimalism, contrasting polarities: “from tricks to schemes, from smoldering to burning, from Kiro to Boris, from SRM to SRM, from the police to the Ministry of Interior.” Minimalism, is an incredibly challenging form to craft effective rhymes, and once again, it demonstrates why Dzaka’s winning streak, carried for decades, is not just a duty fulfilled to hip-hop but a fully earned accolade – and that’s a rarity.
